Arabica coffee that is low in acidity, with aromas of nuts and a delicate notes of cherries, perfectly rounded off by a creamy, smooth aftertaste.
This coffee, produced exclusively by women, is the key to the goal of the Women’s Fund Project, which is to improve the quality of life of its members. The “Flores del Café” helps them to acquire a legal right to property of their land, a precondition to receive credits and loans for economic purposes. In Jinotega women only have 15% of the land titles, with land-ownership traditionally passed on from fathers to sons.
